A motorcyclist involved in a crash Monday afternoon in Chatham-Kent has died, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confirmed.
Emergency crews responded to the scene at Communication Road and Fairview Line around 3:30 p.m. The victim was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police have not officially identified the deceased, citing respect for the family’s privacy.
Details about the number of vehicles involved and confirmation that the victim was the motorcyclist have not been released. There is no information yet on any charges.
Communication Road remains closed between Maynard Line and Park Avenue as the investigation continues.
