A serious two-vehicle collision in Thamesville is under investigation by Chatham-Kent Police.

The crash occurred around 9 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Selton Line and Victoria Road, involving an SUV and a pickup truck. Police determined that the SUV was traveling west on Selton Line, while the pickup truck was heading south on Victoria Road when they collided in the intersection.

The 28-year-old SUV driver from Windsor and two passengers were uninjured. The 32-year-old pickup truck driver from Thamesville sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
