A collision temporarily closed Highway 17 in Blind River on Monday morning, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
Initially reported around 11 a.m., the crash led to the closure of Causley Street between Laborne Avenue and King Edward Street. Ontario 511 later clarified the closure extended in both directions from Birch Street to Leacoch Street.
The highway was reopened shortly after 1 p.m. Police have not released details regarding how many vehicles were involved or whether there were any injuries.
Update – According to OPP, the collision involved a single vehicle and the driver has been hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
