A fatal crash occurred Thursday morning when a car struck a home in Windsor’s east end. Police responded to the scene in the 11000 block of Palmetto Street, near Tecumseh Road East and Banwell Road, just before 8 a.m.
Officers discovered that the vehicle had veered off the road and crashed into a residence. The driver was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Fortunately, no one else was injured, though the house sustained damage.
Windsor police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
