A single-vehicle crash near the Alexandra Bridge early Saturday morning has left one person dead and another injured, according to Gatineau police.
The collision occurred around 3 a.m. on Rue Laurier, near Boulevard des Allumetières, in Hull. When responders arrived, they found two people in the vehicle.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released the identity of the victim and are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 819-243-4636, option 5.
