A 41-year-old man from Wilmot Township sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle collision on Saturday afternoon in North Dumfries Township.

At approximately 3:25 p.m., emergency services responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a Dodge vehicle at the intersection of Dumfries Road and Fife Road. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious physical injuries, while the 84-year-old driver of the Dodge from Brantford was uninjured.

The intersection was closed for several hours during the investigation but has since reopened. The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit is continuing to investigate the incident, and charges are anticipated.
