A man in his 50s has died following a single-vehicle crash involving an electric scooter on the Prince Edward Viaduct in Toronto. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. Thursday in the eastbound lanes. Police say the rider lost control of the scooter and suffered serious injuries. He was transported to hospital, where he later died.
Road closures in the area have since been lifted. Toronto police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with security or dashcam footage to come forward.
