A serious collision in Mapleton led to the closure of Wellington Road 17 in both directions on Monday. According to an Ontario Provincial Police social media update posted at 4:52 p.m., the closure affected the stretch between Eighth Line and Wellington Road 8. Police warned that the investigation could take several hours to complete.
