Chatham-Kent police and fire investigators continued their work on Tuesday following a house fire. Crews responded to the blaze at a two-storey, four-unit home on the 400 block of Grand Avenue East Monday night. The fire appeared to have started in the rear lower-level unit.
The intense heat also caused damage to the siding of the neighboring house. The total damage is estimated at $200,000.
