The Leamington OPP are investigating a serious single-vehicle crash that occurred Friday evening in Wheatley. Officers responded to the scene on Erie Street South around 7:45 p.m., where one individual sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
Erie Street South was closed for several hours between Hickson Road and Deer Run Road during the investigation.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Update – On Saturday, the police announced that the driver has died from their injuries.
