A multi-vehicle collision on Highway 400 in Barrie Thursday night resulted in several injuries. The crash occurred just before 11:30 p.m. near the Essa Road ramp, according to Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt.
Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and three vehicles were towed. One vehicle managed to drive away from the scene.
The highway was cleared a few hours later, but the cause of the crash remains unclear, and it is unknown whether any charges will be laid.
