Halton police are searching for two suspects after several townhouses in Burlington were deliberately set on fire early Friday morning—the second arson at the same location.

Emergency crews responded around 2 a.m. to a Branthaven Homes development on Turnberry Road, near Appleby Line and Taywood Drive. Police say the suspects doused multiple newly completed townhouses—and one occupied unit—with gasoline before igniting the fires and fleeing the scene.

The residents of the occupied home escaped unharmed, and firefighters quickly brought the flames under control.

Police noted the same units were targeted in a previous arson in October 2024. The suspects are described only as males dressed in all black, with face coverings and hoods.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage from between 12:45 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on July 11 is urged to contact Halton police at 905-825-4777 ext. 2316 or provide tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
