A serious single-vehicle crash temporarily closed part of Highway 108 on Tuesday afternoon, between Serpent River and Elliot Lake.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported the collision just after 12:30 p.m. and began reopening one lane of the highway around 3:30 p.m. The road was fully cleared and reopened by 6 p.m. Authorities have not provided any details on the cause of the crash, the potential for charges, or whether there were any injuries.
OPP and emergency crews managed traffic flow and advised the public to follow on-site instructions. Initially, drivers were urged to avoid the area or take alternative routes due to the lack of a detour.
