A man has died after being ejected from his scooter in Brant County on Friday evening. Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash along the Waterford Heritage Trail, near College Street West and Robinson Road, just before 9:30 p.m. The 30-year-old man sustained serious, life-threatening injuries in the crash and was later pronounced dead.

Sgt. Ed Sanchuk expressed his condolences in a social media post, offering sympathy to those affected by the tragic incident. He also thanked a passerby who stopped to assist the injured man, acknowledging their help in what was an incredibly difficult situation.

The OPP are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
