A 28-year-old woman from West Perth has died after her pickup truck left the road and crashed into a tree west of St. Marys on Monday.
The Stratford Police Service reported that the black GMC Sierra was observed weaving on Perth Road 139 at Line 2 just before 7 a.m. Moments later, the vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree. Authorities noted that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
