A 38-year-old man from Leamington was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Chatham-Kent on Saturday evening. Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle incident around 5:35 p.m. on River Line, between Communication Road and Harwich Road.
The motorcyclist, who was the only person involved, was initially taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and later airlifted to Windsor Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Chatham-Kent Police’s Traffic Management Unit is handling the ongoing investigation, and the road was closed for several hours before reopening. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Const. Joel Rehill.
