A female pedestrian was hit by a car Tuesday morning in Mississauga’s north end and rushed to hospital. The incident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. at Derry Road West and Danton Promenade, near Winston Churchill Boulevard.
Peel Regional Police say her injuries are not life-threatening. Parts of the surrounding roads have been closed as the investigation continues, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes.
