A 38-year-old Ottawa man has been charged with careless driving following a head-on collision north of Kingston Thursday morning. The crash occurred near Perth Road and Bedford Mills Road, close to Westport, around 6 a.m.
Both drivers, who were alone in their vehicles, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Frontenac OPP led the investigation, which temporarily closed Perth Road; the road has since reopened.
