A 56-year-old man from Lakeshore has been charged with impaired driving following a hit-and-run collision, according to Lakeshore OPP. On Thursday at 10 p.m., police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash at Gracey Sideroad and Morris Road in Comber, where one driver had fled the scene.

After an investigation, officers quickly located the suspect and his vehicle. The man faces charges including impaired operation by alcohol and drugs, dangerous driving, and failure to stop after an accident. Minor injuries were reported.

His driver’s license has been suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
