A 23-year-old woman from Brampton has died following a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 401 in Mississauga early Sunday morning. The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m., with two occupants in the vehicle at the time.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger, a 25-year-old woman also from Brampton, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the crash, access to Highway 410 from both directions of Highway 401 and Highway 403 remains closed. Ontario Provincial Police expect the affected lanes and ramps to reopen by 11 a.m.
