An Etobicoke boxing gym is determined to recover quickly after suffering significant damage from a break-in and arson early Wednesday morning. Emergency crews responded to the Kingsway Boxing Club on Norseman Street just before 4 a.m., finding the building on fire. Toronto Fire extinguished the blaze, and fortunately, no one was hurt.
Two Toronto men, aged 30 and 18, have been arrested and charged with break-and-enter and arson in connection with the incident.
In response, the gym has temporarily closed its Norseman location and moved classes to its Bloor Street West facility. Despite the extensive damage, the club assured members of its continued dedication to the community and expressed confidence in a swift return—hoping to reopen within a week.
