Four teenagers from Moncton, New Brunswick, are facing charges after crashing an allegedly stolen vehicle on Highway 11 in Gravenhurst Thursday evening. The single-vehicle incident occurred around 7 p.m. near Sedore Road when the car veered off the road and landed in a ditch after narrowly missing a rock cut. No major injuries were reported.
Provincial police determined the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the week in New Brunswick. An 18-year-old driver has been charged with multiple offenses, including dangerous driving, driving while prohibited, obstructing police, possession of stolen property over $5,000, and breaching a release order. Three other teens—one 14 and two 15 years old—are also facing charges related to the stolen vehicle.
All four are expected to appear in Bracebridge court to face the allegations.
