A collision between a transport truck and a horse-drawn buggy on Highway 11 near Matheson, Ontario, left four people injured Friday morning, according to Ontario Provincial Police. One of the individuals is reported to be in critical condition.
The collision took place at around 10:30 a.m. and led to a full road closure at Burton Road in Matheson. The roadway remained shut in both directions for much of the day and reopened shortly before 8 p.m. Ontario Provincial Police confirmed they had cleared the scene by 8:15 p.m. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
