A single-vehicle crash near Mitchell on Tuesday morning caused a power outage in the area. The incident occurred on Perth Line 39, where a vehicle left the road and struck a hydro pole, resulting in the disruption of electricity.

Emergency services, including OPP, Perth County paramedics, and the West Perth Fire Department, responded to the scene. The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a trauma centre.

The road was temporarily closed for the investigation but has since reopened.
