A rollover crash near downtown Barrie on Saturday afternoon sent an adult and a child to hospital. The incident occurred at the intersection of Dunlop Street East and Berczy Street. Emergency crews, including two fire trucks and the platoon chief, responded to the scene.
Both individuals were trapped inside the vehicle, which had come to rest on its side, and had to be extricated by firefighters. The extent of their injuries is not yet known. A blue Chevrolet sedan involved in the crash was later seen upright with deployed airbags as tow crews worked to clear the intersection.
