A 22-year-old man from Oakville has died following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 410 in Mississauga on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when the vehicle struck the centre median on the northbound collector lanes near Courtneypark Drive East.
The driver, the only occupant of the car, was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.
A portion of the highway was closed for several hours as the OPP’s Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team investigated, though it has since reopened. Authorities are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
