Provincial police are urging the driver and passengers of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run last week on Highway 9 in Caledon to come forward.
On the evening of August 25, around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a collision near Mount Pleasant Road and Mount Wolfe Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a cyclist had been struck by a vehicle, which had already fled the scene. The cyclist only sustained minor injuries.
Investigators are working to reconstruct the events surrounding the incident and have gathered significant evidence, including fragments of a passenger-side mirror believed to be from a late-2000s or early 2010s Ford model.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
