A collision involving a motorcycle and a car in Milton on Sunday left several people injured, including one with serious injuries. The crash occurred on Trafalgar Road, south of Britannia Road, around 4:40 a.m., prompting a response from Halton Regional Police.

Investigators determined that a male motorcyclist, riding a white Yamaha, was traveling northbound when he collided with the rear of a blue Mazda sedan. The motorcyclist suffered a broken leg in the crash.

The Mazda driver, along with the drivers of two southbound vehicles, stopped to assist the injured motorcyclist. While they were helping and awaiting EMS, a grey Toyota Sienna minivan traveling northbound struck the group of people aiding the motorcyclist. One of the individuals helping suffered serious head injuries and a broken leg.

Both the motorcyclist and the Mazda driver were transported to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto for treatment. The two individuals who had stopped to assist were taken to a local hospital with minor leg injuries.
