A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle near Moss Park early Wednesday morning. Around 12:30 a.m., a 43-year-old driver of a Ford Fusion was traveling south on Sherbourne Street, near Shuter Street, when he collided with a 28-year-old man. The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.

The driver stayed at the location and is cooperating with the investigation. Police expressed condolences for the victim and their family, acknowledging the tragic nature of the incident.

The Toronto Police Traffic Services Unit is handling the case, and they are urging anyone with information to contact authorities or Crime Stoppers. Although roads in the area were briefly closed, they have since been reopened.
