A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a Wheeltrans vehicle in Scarborough on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred just after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Warden Avenue and Ellesmere Road. Police reported that the airbags in the Wheeltrans vehicle deployed during the collision.
Paramedics transported a man to a local trauma center with serious injuries, though police later confirmed that his injuries are non-life-threatening.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
