The eastbound ramp to Highway 401 at Brock Street in Whitby was closed Friday just before lunchtime after a tractor-trailer struck the right-side guardrail.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The OPP Whitby detachment stated that the ramp will remain closed as plans are made to remove the truck from the guardrail.
