A stolen Jeep collided with a police cruiser in Waterloo on Friday evening, leading to an ongoing investigation.
The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. near Pinery Trail and Springwater Drive. Officers had spotted the black SUV, which was occupied by two individuals. When authorities attempted to block the vehicle, the driver hit a police car and fled the scene. The vehicle was later found abandoned, and the suspects are believed to have fled on foot.
Investigators believe the duo may be involved in other local crimes, including thefts and break-in attempts. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
