A 29-year-old man from Milton is facing charges of impaired and dangerous driving following a three-vehicle collision that temporarily shut down the eastbound lanes of Highway 403 in Mississauga.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. near the Eglinton Avenue East merge point, where the express and collector lanes meet. Police report that the man’s vehicle rolled over during the crash. His 24-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries, while no one else involved in the crash was hurt.
The driver, who has not been named, is now facing charges related to impaired and dangerous driving. The eastbound lanes were closed for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
