A 58-year-old man has died after being struck during a two-vehicle collision in Windsor on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at the intersection of Hanna Street East and Windsor Avenue. According to Windsor Police, a vehicle traveling eastbound on Hanna Street East ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle heading northbound on Windsor Avenue.
The impact pushed both vehicles onto the northeast corner of the intersection, where they struck a pedestrian on the sidewalk.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.
As of 6 p.m. Tuesday, the intersection remained closed while the investigation continued.
Police are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact the Windsor Police Traffic Enforcement Unit.
