A man in his 30s was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Brampton.
The incident occurred around 6:10 a.m. near Torbram Road and East Drive. While police initially reported the injuries as life-threatening, Peel Paramedics later confirmed they were serious but not life-threatening.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The driver involved remained at the scene, and police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. Roads were initially closed around the area, but have reopened.
