Two people were seriously injured after a car collided with a horse-drawn buggy north of Wellesley on Wednesday night.
The crash occurred around 8 p.m. on Manser Road near William Hastings Line. According to Waterloo Regional Police, a Ford vehicle struck the buggy, injuring a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man inside. Both were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The Ford’s driver, a 20-year-old man from Millbank, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
No information has been released about the horse.
Police are still investigating the incident and say charges are expected.
