On Friday evening, provincial police shut down a section of Grey Road 9 in Melancthon following a crash that left one person injured and required hospitalization.
The incident occurred northeast of Dundalk shortly after 7 p.m. and brought down a hydro pole. The affected stretch, between Osprey Townline and Eighth Line, remains closed as hydro crews work to restore service. The cause of the collision is still unknown.
