A man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Milton early Saturday morning. Halton Regional Police were called to Lower Base Line, east of Tremaine Road, at around 6:50 a.m. after a red Ford pickup truck veered off the road and struck a concrete retaining wall.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was found with critical injuries and pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the scene, and police are asking any witnesses or individuals with information to come forward.
