A 30-year-old man from Brampton has been charged following an incident in Guelph where another man was hit twice by a car during a dispute.
The altercation occurred Friday afternoon near Glasgow Street North and Essex Street after one man allegedly took property that wasn’t his. When another individual tried to intervene, he was struck twice by the suspect’s vehicle.
The victim suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment. Police confirmed the two men know each other. The suspect was arrested on Sunday and faces multiple charges, including assault with a weapon, dangerous driving, assault, and theft under $5,000.
