A 20-year-old man is facing multiple charges after crashing a pickup truck into two parked vehicles early Saturday morning in North Bay. Police responded around 3 a.m. to reports of a truck being driven at high speeds and erratically in the Marshall Park Drive area. The driver lost control on a corner, left the road, and ended up on top of two parked vehicles.

He fled the scene but was later found, arrested, and taken to hospital with minor injuries. No one else was hurt. Police say he showed signs of intoxication, and further testing confirmed he was over the legal blood alcohol limit.

The man has been charged with dangerous driving, impaired driving, and failing to remain at the scene. He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Police emphasized the serious risks of impaired driving and thanked community members for reporting the incident.
