A fire occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Innisfil ONroute on the southbound side of Highway 400, leaving one person with minor injuries.
Emergency crews responded to reports of a possible gas explosion, which turned out to be a brief propane flare in the mechanical room. The flare self-extinguished before firefighters arrived. Crews shut off the propane, checked for fire spread, cleared smoke, and deemed the damage minimal.
The building was later handed back to ONroute staff. The injured individual was assessed by paramedics and released on scene.
