A 44-year-old man from Port Dover has died after a motorcycle and truck collided late Tuesday night in Hamilton.

The crash occurred around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 6 and Upper James Street. According to Ontario Provincial Police, the motorcycle was heading south on Upper James when it struck a northbound truck turning left onto Highway 6.

The rider suffered critical injuries and later died in hospital. The truck driver was unharmed and remained at the scene. Police have not laid any charges, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact OPP.
