A fire that broke out around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lake Huron Resort along Highway 21 sent thick black smoke visible as far as Goderich. The blaze engulfed an RV and caused damage to nearby trailers. Located just north of Point Farms Provincial Park, the fire was quickly brought under control by emergency crews.
No injuries were reported, and firefighters had the situation contained and were back in service by early afternoon.
