A 69-year-old man sustained life-threatening injures after being hit by an SUV in Etobicoke Wednesday afternoon. The collision happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. at The Westway and Wincott Drive.
A 76-year-old woman driving a white Lexus RX350 westbound on The Westway was turning left onto Wincott Drive when she struck the man crossing the street. He was rushed to a trauma centre with critical injuries. The driver stayed at the scene.
