A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle outside the Meadowvale Community Centre in Mississauga on Wednesday evening. Emergency crews responded to the scene at 7:36 p.m. on Glen Erin Drive.
The individual was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. No other people required medical attention.
Peel Regional Police confirmed that the driver involved stayed at the scene, but no additional details about the incident or the victim have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
