Emergency crews responded to two separate collisions on Highway 85 in Kitchener on Thursday evening.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, the first incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when a motorcyclist rear-ended another vehicle. The rider sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
While police were investigating the initial crash, a second collision involving three vehicles took place nearby. Although minor injuries were reported, the exact number of people hurt remains unclear.
Both incidents caused significant traffic delays near the Lancaster Street exit as emergency crews worked at the scene.
