A fatal two-vehicle crash in North Perth on Saturday evening has claimed the lives of two people.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Perth Line 86 just after 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a passenger vehicle and a pickup truck severely damaged. The driver of the car, a 72-year-old man from North Perth, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger, a 75-year-old woman from North Perth, was taken to the hospital but later died from her injuries.
The 17-year-old driver of the pickup truck sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital in London, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
