A serious collision involving a pickup truck and a cyclist is under investigation by Sault Ste. Marie Police. The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on October 3 near Wellington Street East and Kohler Street.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene, and the 26-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The pickup truck driver was uninjured.
Police say the Traffic Services unit is continuing the investigation, and no charges have been laid at this stage. Authorities also confirmed they are not currently seeking further information from the public.
