Ontario Provincial Police are searching for two individuals who ran from the scene of a collision that occurred around 5:30 p.m. Friday on the eastbound side of Highway 401 near Brock Road in Pickering. The incident involved a Porsche, and the occupants — a man and a woman — fled the vehicle after the crash.
The male suspect is a 22-year-old Black man with black hair, last seen wearing a black jacket. The female suspect is a Black woman with braided hair, last seen wearing a pink shirt and a black vest. She was spotted heading south on Brock Road, while the man was seen on Westney Road in Ajax.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant information or dashcam footage to contact the Whitby OPP at 905-668-3388.
