On Sunday morning, emergency crews were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash near a Tim Hortons on Bayfield Street in Barrie, just before noon.
A female driver in a Mazda SUV reportedly hit a pole while entering the drive-through, causing the vehicle to flip onto its side. Witnesses nearby assisted in righting the SUV before paramedics arrived and helped the driver out of the vehicle. The airbags had deployed, but no serious injuries were reported.
Barrie police later confirmed that everything was under control.
